Activities and Clubs

Bridge - Members meet at the club on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for Duplicate and Party Bridge.

Emerald Bay Benevolence Foundation is a 501c(3) charity that functions in partnership with the Emerald Bay Women's Club. It provides support to community and charitable endeavors.

Fishing Club - This club was organized to promote fishing, youth fishing, boating safety, beauty and safety of our fishing areas and camaraderie. Monthly meetings are held with guest speakers, family events and tournaments. Memberships will renew concurrent with the Texas fishing license in August.

Mah Jongg - Our members join groups playing 4 -5 days of the week in the East and West Rooms. Lessons are offered and many groups welcome a fifth player to keep the games moving.  Several Mah Jongg theme luncheons and parties are sponsored throughout the year.

Neighborhood Groups - This is a great way for neighbors to meet neighbors by meeting for supper on specific days each month. Some even invite members living near the area.  Members of the group take turns hosting the meal which may be at the club, at their home or at a restaurant of their choice.

Pokeno - This game is a combination of poker and bingo, played like bingo. Pokeno is played on the first Thursday of the month between 6:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m.  It is a great “Ladies Night Out”.  Ladies bring and play for wrapped gifts worth about $10.00.  Appetizers are available to purchase. Sorry, children are not invited.

Women's Club - Women's Club offers the opportunity to meet other women in Emerald Bay, get to know them and find out about what is happening in our community and the area. It offers a variety of programs to educate, entertain, and have fun. Membership is available to all women members. Subsequent dues are $25.00 annually.

Parties & Events

Members host more than 50 private parties annually that include theme parties, Sunday brunches, and receptions. Club sponsored activities draw crowds for weekend brunch menus and weekday daily specials. Karaoke Nights and the craft fair are very popular. Special holiday events are planned for members of all ages including hayrides, a Christmas visit with Santa, an Easter egg hunt, and a Fourth of July celebration that includes a golf cart parade, buffets, and fireworks. Weddings and special events may be booked.

Come enjoy exquisite cuisine and a serene view of the golf course or Lake Palestine while dining in our large dining room, party room, lounge, or card room.  The East Room offers casual dining from our extensive menu as well as daily lunch and dinner specials.  A children and desserts menu is available.  Also very popular, especially on weekends, are the various pizzas we prepare.  Our chef also creates special occasion buffets to celebrate a variety of holidays.

On the weekends, we offer a substantial Saturday breakfast menu and our Sensational Sunday Brunch, which features made-to-order omelets, bacon and sausage, fruit, waffles, and biscuits, as well as ever-changing, homestyle lunch items. Pizza and wings are available on Sunday afternoons.

Members are asked to make reservations for dining at the club. This allows staff to ensure sufficient quantities, especially for special occasions and buffets. If dining in, you will be asked if would prefer to reserve seating in the East or West Room. Billing for our dining venues is done monthly--no cash or check payments can be taken. Tipping may be added to the bill, if desired.  Rooms may also be reserved for events.

Free coffee and tea are available in areas near the West Room and library. Cool water and tea are also available on the patio--a popular spot for golfers to unwind after playing a round of golf.

Texas law does not allow alcoholic beverages to be brought into the club.
