| The Golden Tees is a group of 70 men ages 55
and older who play golf each Tuesday and Friday
mornings. The format is a nine hole scramble,
comprised of 4 or 5 man teams. This group has
developed a great camaraderie with one another
through the Golden Tees fellowship. |

| The Army is a Wednesday
morning tradition in Emerald Bay. It is
basically an organized “pick up” game. The
Pro-Shop arranges groups with an A, B, C, & D
player and provides handicaps to keep it even.
The teams with the lowest “Net” scores are the
winners. Generally, the games continue during
lunch or with a drink when the playing is done. |
| |
| Friday evenings are
highlighted by a mixed couples 9 hole scramble
organized through the Pro-Shop. Laughter,
camaraderie and encouragement (both genuine and
in jest) punctuate this spring thru fall event.
Prizes are awarded in the restaurant with
everyone taking a meal together. |

| The Golf Pros hold a number
of clinics throughout the year for both men and
women of all skill levels. This is a great
opportunity for those new to golf to learn the
game, and a wonderful opportunity to hone one’s
skills. Private lessons are available from the
Teaching Pros, year round. |

| Every June brings a reunion
of kids ages 6 to 15, who come back year after
year to learn the fundamentals and etiquette of golf and to
enjoy the social interplay. Parents and
grandparents alike delight in watching these
youngsters progress. The kids love this week and
look forward to the beginning of summer in
Emerald Bay. |
